Itumeleng Molotsi

Chief Executive Office/ Founder

Itumeleng Molotsi is a South African Entrepreneur and Philanthropist who always believed in bringing change within the communities in which we live in . He started his formal career in the field of marketing and advertising as a qualified Brand Contact Strategist at HerdBouys-McCann Erickson, South Africa’s first black owned advertising agency. He studied communications science at the University of South Africa and Brand Contact Management at the University of Cape Town.

In 2004,he launched his mass market communication agency (“Brandxposure”) which was operating within Soweto. The agency provided key below the line strategies  and community media platforms to big brands who were targeting these communities. As a result of our influence in the space, we worked closely with MTN SA,Telkom Corporate,Eskom,SABC,Unilever,Standard Bank, First National Bank, Old Mutual, Coca Cola,BrandHouse,South African Breweries, Government  Communication  & Information Services,ABSA-Barclays Bank, and many more.

In 2006 he launched Silvaplaite Investment Group, a diversified investment company with key interest in Telecoms, Media, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Mineral Resources, Property, Virtual banking and Pharmaceuticals.

Spiritmobile International (Pty)Ltd is the subsidiary of Silvaplaite Investment Holdings and was incorporated  as a mobile virtual network with a key focus in closed loop communities across the African Continent. In 2013 Spiritmobile was incorporated in the Democratic Republic of Congo where it operated a super dealer agency to Vodacom Congo and Airtel Congo. The company was instrumental in launching customized low cost smartphones for Congolese churches,footbal clubs and the introduction of digital learning solution for Universities. As a Super Dealer the company activated sim cards, data sales and provided mobile money services in the closed loop communities in the DRC. The company was also instrumental in launching branded VISA cards for churches to drive banking in the regions, but due to legislations the projects could not take off.

As a brand, Spiritmobile has forged strategic business relationships across Nigeria,Ghana,DRC,Brazzaville,Gabon,Rwanda,Kenya,Mozambique,Ivory Coast, Zambia,Zimbabwe,Swaziland,Kenya,Uganda,Botswana,Namibia and Tanzania.

His main responsibility in the company is to drive Innovation and make sure the corporate vision is achieved.
